The majority of our employees come from poverty-stricken communities. We support Rise Up Bakeries’ initiative, which provides subsidised fresh bread to our employees daily. Not only does this benefit our members of staff, but Rise Up is an empowerment project where an entrepreneur from our local community bakes and sells the bread for an income.

The Path Onto Prosperity (POP) Programme seeks to transform rural communities by enabling a generation of children to become healthy, self-confident and educated young people who can take up leadership roles in their communities. Two new POP centres, financed and co-managed by Grassroots Group, will soon be opening in Saron.
